Strength

But you, Isreal, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend, You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts, and said to you,
'You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you.
'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

--Isaiah 41:8-10

A friend of mine going through a trial turned me on to this verse.

Very helpful. Good to have a divine helper who created this world. He goes on beginning in verse 18 describing how He will use nature to his advantage. Awe inspiring.

If Christ is your Lord and Saviour, you can insert your name in the place of Isreal and Jacob in the first sentence. And Jesus told us in John 15:14-15

You are my friends, if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
