The Organic Church

Bruce Carlton came to our office and conducted a two-day training on Church Planting Movements and Strategy Coordinators for countries. It was massive information overload for me, with a splattering of conviction thrown in for good measure. Here's a thought:

Church is organic. It is who we are, not where we go.

Church is organic, not an organization. An organization requires maintenance, and many times once in maintenance mode, it dies.

Living organisms innately know that their existence depends on their ability to reproduce.

Then someone threw out a quote from a man in India,

"Every believer is a church planter.
Every home is a potential church.
Every church is a potential training center."
